Skid Control Training
Invest in safety. Your livelihood depends on it!
When you’re faced with a potentially dangerous situation on the road, you only have a split second to react. Two things help truckers conquer the unexpected: excellent driving skills and quick decision-making. Let skid control training help you with both.
Through a unique combination of small, personalized class lessons and vehicle training at a 10-acre facility, experienced and novice drivers learn advanced and potentially life-saving driving skills. The goal is to produce a better class of driver with the decision-making skills and quick response needed to handle a variety of dangerous situations.
In light of recent criticisms about truckers and the companies who employ them, skid control training offers drivers and employers a win-win situation. Better driving skills not only improve road safety, they ultimately benefit the trucking industry on the whole by lowering costs for vehicle repairs, road repair, clean-up, personal injury, insurance claims and WCB.
Your Skid School will be a definite advantage in helping our drivers achieve a higher level of defensive driving. –Bradley Bird, Safety & Compliance Officer, Philip Environmental

“We probably learned more in one day on this course about skid control than anyone could learn in a lifetime of safe and accident-free driving.”
