1. In-class – one week (53 hours)

Two-day approved air brake endorsement
Border crossing procedures
Pre-trip inspections
Basic vehicle operation
Log books
Cargo security
Defensive driving
Dangerous goods
Map reading
Trip planning
Hands-on experience in our yard with the trucks you will be driving

2. In vehicle – 22 hours of personal instruction time

Training for the DZ licence takes place in a multi-gear truck.

Upon completion of our “DZ” training course at Tri-County Training, you will receive:

  • Air Brake Endorsement Certificate
  • Straight Truck Course Certificate
  • Resume
  • Income tax receipt
  • Job search assistance

This program is approved as a vocational program under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
